Behind the Wheel Training

  • Proof of Valid Permit Required
  • DRIVER TRAINING FEES:  
  • __ Six hours of instruction includes a completion letter – required if four or more road tests have been failed. Cost $525. The start and end locations Andover, Anoka, Ramsey, Elk River, Otsego, St Francis, and Oak Grove. Additional fees for Zimmerman/Princeton. Drives available Monday to Sunday.
  • __ Six hours of instruction includes completion letter – if required. Cost $600. Start and end in Brooklyn Park, Crystal, New Hope, Osseo driver training with completion letter – Drives available on Saturdays and Sundays only.

ROAD TEST FEES:

__ Cost $250 to use the vehicle for the Anoka DMV Road test. There is a Same Day Option if you are renting the vehicle for the road test. Schedule the final behind the wheel drive the day of your road test at the Anoka DMV.

__ DMV locations: Arden Hills, Plymouth, and Buffalo Road Test (3-hour max) Cost $500. Includes one hour of driver training before the road test.

Vehicle use includes pick up, training time, road test, and drop off. EQUIP Driver Education Policies:  Proof of a valid Permit required.

Payment due at registration to hold the drive dates. Drives to be completed within 60 days of the first drive. Prorated refund after the first drive. Cancellation prior to starting drives, $50 administrative fee will be deducted. Please be ready for your scheduled drive. No show fee $50. If sick cancel by 8 am to avoid fee.

Medical concerns must be disclosed. Behind the wheel training is not guaranteed for all students.
